On Friday 3rd February 2017, PwC hosted its inaugural careers fair at Embankment Place, for all of our Year 11 students.
The day was structured to inform and actively involve students to think about different degrees and career opportunities. PwC planned for a number of speakers, including an Executive Board Member of PwC, volunteers from the Diana Award, PwC ambassadors speaking on apprenticeships and a London Top Tier Human Capital Leader. In addition to the speakers, PwC arranged for over 35 volunteers from a range of careers to share their academic journey, during the careers fair rotations. Students were engaging and asking exceptional questions, some coming away with potential work experience and summer internship possibilities.
The day was a true success and highly enjoyed by both students and volunteers alike. The students clearly rose to the occasion, not only conducting themselves in a highly professional manner, but staying focused and engaged throughout the entire day’s events.
